Influenster Wellness VoxBox!

This post main contain affiliate links that will benefit this blog if you click on them.

Recently, I received a VoxBox from Influenster with several FULL SIZE products meant to aid in enjoying me time. These are great products that helped me feel pampered! Here are the products:

This is so much stuff! I was surprised that they were all full sized and usable products. These are products that I wouldn't normally use, also. I'm more of a super crunchy one myself. These are primarily main stream products that I usually avoid. But I figure why not, eh?

Let's talk about each product I received in exchange for my review, shall we?

I want to talk about my favorite product first, the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer. It's pretty awkward moisturizing your skin when your body is still wet, and not dried off at all. But after I toweled off, I loved the way my skin felt! I feel better now than I have in quiet some time. I think being pregnant and breastfeeding for so long took a toll on my poor skin. But I feel like this has brought it back to almost as good as it was when I was all young and supple skinned. LOL

My second favorite product, which I do not have a selfie with, showing my love, is the Olay Active Botanicals Gel Cleanser. I love how this makes my face feel. It has a great lather, and smells very clean. I felt great using this product, and it was fun to use! I would recommend it!

Next up is this new brand that I've heard of before. It's called Attitude, and it looks like it is specific to Target stores (as well as their online retailers). Their products promote being carcinogen free, which is on point with my line of thinking. So for that, I love it! The shampoo smells GREAT! I feel like it gave a lot of life to my hair. The dishwashing liquid is green apple and basil scented. It's a unique and awesome scent that is really growing on me. ATTITUDE has a great deal going on! Right now you can get 40% off of your first order on using the code FIRSTFREE40.

There was also Colgate (a well known brand) mouthwash. This mouthwash is unique because it is alcohol free, and tastes great!

Lastly, is this pain reliever that I didn't get a chance to try, but it looks convenient! I haven't been in any pain this month, so I haven't had the opportunity to try it. What a lucky month for me, right??

I received all of these products in exchange for my review of them, but all opinions are my own!

I'm Sick of Researching Vacuum Cleaners

As a military family, we are told to move a lot. We pack up our entire lives, clothes, food, washer and dryers, vacuums, everything. Then we drive them to where ever we are told to live. We have moved five times in five years, to three different states. It's an exhausting process that requires SO MUCH PAPERWORK, and a lot of organization and time. We spend hours filling out paperwork and reviewing leases to be sure we get everything in place so we don't get overcharged or forget anything. Then of course there is the cleaning. Oh my gosh, the cleaning.

We spend a few days cleaning at each place before leaving or moving in. I think we are so good at keeping up with housework until it's moving time. Then I realize I should have been much more thorough. Dog hair finds a way into every nook and cranny of my house. Almost every time we move I have to get a new vacuum. Looking back, I've wasted a lot of money on vacuum cleaners. The poor things take a huge beating every move, and never seem to work as well again. I have found vacuums usually take quite the beating in the moving truck because we can't seem to keep them from rolling around or toppling over, as well as where we are and where we go. I have tried changing filters and replacing parts, but I can not ever seem to make them work as well again. We almost always end up purchasing another system to ensure our future house can stay clean.

For the last five years, after a move, I'd cycle through reviews of vacuums, spending hours searching for helpful advice about what is the best product out there. I don't like to look at the five star reviews, because often they are just "this is great, thanks!" or the person hadn't had any issues with the vacuum cleaner yet. I like the one stars because they show the problems.  I have to sift through hundreds of "not what I was looking for" one star reviews, wishing there were a better way to find what I was looking for. You know the Amazon reviews, where someone says "Mine arrived broken, I couldn't return it because I had thrown away the box before I realized it was broken", or they didn't like the customer service of the Sears they bought it at in Albuquerque. Those are unhelpful reviews, and it's time consuming and very tedious to sift through them to find great information about why someone doesn't like a product, or what to avoid when buying a new one.

I finally found what I was looking for, and now I'm sharing it. This site will help you with finding a decent vacuum fit to whatever you need. There are also some great reviews that I'd love to share with you. The first being the guide to the best vacuums of 2015. There is advice for cordless car vacuums that you can look at. My personal favorite for my needs is the advice about getting a vacuum that can withstand owning pets. I've had to clean my vacuum every time I clean because of the amount of dog hair that gets stuck in the bristles. I would love to find a vacuum where that is not necessary. New content is added often, so for your next move, you'll have something new to try. The Household Appliance Judge site has an excellent selection of appliance reviews for those who move a lot, or those who move once. OR if you are in the market for a new appliance at all. Stop sifting through hundreds of pointless reviews, and use a great wealth of knowledge!

Sunsella Mighty Pops!

Do you make ice pops at home? No? Is it because you don't have the awesome silicone molds to make them? What if you could get them for a decent price??

I don't think I can say enough good things about this product. I love that they're easy to use, and brightly colored without a weird print. I love that they're soft. I love that my one year old can use these, and my three year old can use these. I love that they're easy to clean and easy to fill! I don't have the extra stand to fill them, I put them in a cup to hold them while I filled them up, and then put the cup in the freezer with them so they didn't get stuck.

We made a delicious banana ice cream smoothie pop for the babies in these. It's just a smushed up banana, some cocoa, honey, and milk. Then bam! Freeze and you're done! The kids love them a lot, and I don't have to clean up nasty stains from red food dye in ice pops. My children also tend to cut their little mouths on the plastic from the store bought ice pops. So this is a great way to avoid all of that stuff I don't like and have more of what I do like. Which is yummy food and no pain! One last thing I love! On the bottom there, you can see in the second picture, there is about an inch of space to hold the bottom without freezing your little fingers off. Who wouldn't love that?

Another tip I've found: When your ice pop is frozen into your mold, just run it under warm water for a few seconds, and it will come right out! :)

I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

Dana Sibilski's Tips To Successful Blogging

I have been blogging for a few years now on and off, but I haven't really taken off until earlier this year when I had a great viral post that fit in very well to my niche. The post opened up a lot of doors for me, and got me in the direction I wanted to go. It brought me readers and followers, and interest in what I had to say. I am grateful that I can now call myself a blogger.

I am definitely still a newbie in the blogging world, and I have so much to learn. Recently I received this book in the mail to help me learn more about this huge subject.

Dana Sibilski breaks her tips down into eight simple bite sized chapters with a wealth of knowledge. I feel that I learned a lot reading through the chapters, and implementing some of her ideas. I will absolutely be keeping this book at my desk to refer back to until I feel I'm more on my feet.

This book is meant for beginners. If you are more experienced you will get less from this book, because you already have the knowledge presented.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.
